Vaccination requirements for Spain
If you’re fully vaccinated (with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) and travelling from the UK or US, you can enter Spain without needing to test or quarantine.
The date of your last vaccination should be no more than 270 days prior to travel. If your second vaccination was more than 270 days prior to your experience you will need to get your booster jab.
At least 14 days must have passed since you became fully vaccinated before you arrive in Spain. Booster jabs can be administered at any time prior to travel to Spain.

Not fully vaccinated:
Provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test
If you're not fully vaccinated, you can provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. This can either be a PCR test, taken no more than 72 hours before your flight or an antigen test, taken no more than 24 hours before your flight.
Find more information on providing proof of a negative test here.
If you've had COVID-19 in the last 6 months
You can enter Spain if you’re not fully vaccinated but have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months.
You can use a medical certificate or recovery record to prove your COVID-19 status on entry to Spain.
Please view this page for more information.
If you’re travelling from outside of the UK or US, please check the relevant entry requirements for your journey.
During your experience
🛬 When you arrive in Spain, you'll need to show your NHS COVID-19 pass, or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result.
You'll also need to present the QR code from your Spanish Locator Form to authorities
😷 You'll need to wear a mask on some forms of public transport, in taxis and on the place.
🦠 If you develop COVID-19 symptoms when you're away, isolate immediately and book a test.
If you test positive, alert your Spanish regional hotline who might be able to secure accommodation for you whilst you isolate.
🇬🇧 🇺🇸 You don't need to take a COVID-19 test or complete a passenger locator form to travel to the UK or the US after visiting Spain, whether you're vaccinated or not.
🌏 If you're travelling elsewhere, please check the entry requirements for your destination.
